As with any RPG, there must be rules and guidelines by which all members (including the moderators and administrator) must abide by. While I will do my best to follow my own rules (and will encourage any moderators to do so as well), I am not perfect, and neither are any of you. Just try your best, all right? Now, onto the rules:
Rules of Conduct (Non-Roleplaying)
1. Remember to respect your fellow roleplayers and their views and opinions.
2. If you have a problem with another roleplayer, and you cannot settle it between yourselves, then bring it to my attention or the attention of a moderator and we will deal with it accordingly.
3. If you feel the need to go over the head of one of my moderators, please don't. More than likely, I will agree with them. If you feel the circumstance requires my attention, however, then make sure that it is important.
4. All of my decisions on any matter are final.
5. There is a three strike policy here: you have three chances for breaking rules before you are banned from the site for a temporary amount of time that I, or my moderators, will determine. If, after you are allowed to roleplay again, you break the rules (depending on the circumstances and the rule) once more, you will be banned from the RPG permanently.
6. Most of all, just use common sense.
Rules of Conduct (Roleplaying)
1. First and foremost, I will address an issue that I'm sure everyone who has ever been in any RPG can understand: character control. When roleplaying with another member, it is understandable that some minor character control is meant to occur for lengthy posts. However, major actions (such as making the character speak, attacking something or someone, etc.) are stritcly forbidden unless you have the permission of the member controlling the character.
2. Whatever religion you belong to, you believe that there is a god, or that there are multiple gods (unless you're an Atheist). You and your characters, however, are not deities (and if they are, they have fallible weaknesses) and as such, god-modding will not be allowed.
3. Auto-hitting is a subject similar to character control. It is strictly forbidden unless you have the permission of the other member controlling that character.
4. Your character CANNOT be in more than one place at a time. If they are in the middle of a battle, they can't be chatting it up with another character in the Smash and Crash Cafe or lounging about in the Smash Manor.
5. Long, drawn out battles are only to occur in the Smash Arena Battle Platforms. Short scuffles anywhere else are allowed, but any type of serious confrontation has to occur in the Smash Arena.
6. As before, just use common sense, please.
